  1. At least Gervinho is unavailable…

  2. Hey, if you’re going to mark down the comment then offer up a good reason. With the HFB out, Gervinho would be much more likely to play up front, which is not a particularly appealing option, especially against Citeh. I’m way more inclined to see Theo in that role.

  3. I have a good stat:

Man City have failed to score against Arsenal in the first 3 seconds of the 2nd half

Thumb up 11 Thumb down 2

    • Technically these stats are wrong as Manchester City FC no longer truly exists, we are playing Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed al Nahyan FC. He just kept the original name for brevity.

Thumb up 37 Thumb down 0

      • I’m not sure about that name. It’s not as punchey. I can’t imagine Gary Lineker saying “Hello and welcome to Match of the Day, coming up is Arsenal vs Sheikh Mansour bin….bin something, there’s a Z in there too. Let’s just say Al Qaeda vs Arsenal”

      • Fergie the Gooner

How about the Oil Baron XI?

Thumb up 7 Thumb down 7

      • Wow, we went from playing at home to being away to Al Qeada. Cheers Lineker!

Thumb up 12 Thumb down 17

      • calling any random muslim al qaeda is like calling every white a member of kkk, i mean man city is cancer to football but calling them terrorists just because of their arab link is taking it a bit too far

    • So….you gonna be at the Emirates tomorrow? After your ‘good looking fans’ comment, I’ma start looking for you. What you gonna be wearing?

Thumb up 4 Thumb down 5

  6. Im going for Asnl 3-1. Not being biased. I just hate Man City…..i think we will pass them to death……..and thats before he ball gets to midfield #Pearnotper

  7. DoubleDoubleDouble

    My prediction:

    1-0 to the Arsenal (Wilshere).
Walcott to miss a penalty just as Arteta is about to start his run up.
Balotelli to get sent off for headbutting himself at kick off.

  8. Arsenal iz goin 2 win in d name of ALLAH. AMEN

Thumb up 10 Thumb down 35

    • Who’s that? we are who we are, and I see no reason to use Allah’s name when one say Dennis. Or iceman. Or non-flying Dutchman.

Thumb up 12 Thumb down 5

      • ‘Allah’ means God in Arab. It’s not the name of god of a particular religion, if you thought so.

Thumb up 1 Thumb down 1

      • I know, but it’s still a bit discrespectful. In a kingdom of Arsenal where we dwell the only proper term is Bergkamp. Someone don’t like it, they better change the church.

Thumb up 4 Thumb down 2

  9. Arsenal wil win in d name of ALLAH.AMEN

  11. Finally some Arsenal! It’s terrible waiting all week to watch my club play. I’m having a positive vibe about Sunday’s clash, it’s always an emphatic feeling
putting aside one of these stacked clubs.
Insha’Allah we’ll pull it off. COYG!!!

  12. Rosicky has been kept like a tightly wound spring ready to be theown into this game. Think arsenal v ac milan, 2nd leg.

Thumb up 13 Thumb down 0

  13. Why do we have so many trolls among us? And why are so many of you bringing religion into this? “Allah”..?

Moaning aside, I honestly think it’ll be a bit of a tight game, which we’ll start to dominate in the latter stages of the match. I’m going for a 3-1 Arsenal win, with Giroud scoring twice. (I reckon he’ll make it on as a late substitute)

Also, I really would love it if Rosicky plays, we all know the guy is a master in the midfield.

Diaby? Yes please. I’d like to see him as the anchorman in midfield, ahead of the back four, supplying passes to a trio of Wilshere, Arteta and Cazorla.

Thumb up 14 Thumb down 5

    • Dear Jesus, why do people give stupid opinions like this Diaby one.Its not fifa13 for fuck sake,Diaby never was,is or ever be a dm he is far to lazy.Altough I bet a lot of people’s judgement is clouded since he hasn’t played in months same goes for rosicky.

      • DoubleDoubleDouble

By Jehovah, I believe that a lot of people think of him as a defensive midfielder due to the fact that he’s a big lad.

Thumb up 7 Thumb down 3

  14. We all know there is only one true god…….Dennis Bergkamp !!!!!!

Thumb up 12 Thumb down 3

  15. Wenger: We don’t want to bring in an average player, we only wants exceptionell players.

bye bye champions league next season.

Thumb up 4 Thumb down 9

  16. i want to boff giroud and im not even gay

  19. Fellas, don’t y’all know that our stadium name is Emirates? so stop with the bull shit and bring the craps back to white hurt lane. We gooners have class.

  20. All this not-very-funny racism… I thought id stumbled onto the Stoke city forum…

Thumb up 10 Thumb down 1

  21. Indeed what an odd thread of posts.

Can we all just hope for a comfy win please and pray if you are religiously inclined – if we do win please state which god you prayed to and I will then follow said god for the rest of the season and if we win the champions league he/she/it will have my faith forever more.

    Good day t’you all.

  22. And there it is…. We’ve all been wondering when the immortal words would surface and they’ve now arrived… “Diaby would be like a new signing for us”… Give me fuckin strength…. Not only that gem but he goes on to say that he knew RVP would be the difference in the title race….!! Am sorry to say that instead of being remembered as a manager who’s legacy was numerous titles, fa cups, undefeated seasons etc, it will now be as a stubborn buffoon who slowly losing his fuckin marbles….

Thumb up 2 Thumb down 0

  23. Sjakhtars Willian is available! Why doesn’t Wenger buy an exceptional player then?!

Thumb up 1 Thumb down 1

  24. The way our club is currently being run is untenable and self-defeating. Being frugal in the transfer market, whilst selling our best players season after season restricts our competitiveness and will eventually impact on the club’s profits, perhaps even next season if we don’t finish in the top four. The loss will be surely be too much to recover by fleecing fans through ticket prices etc. The management of Arsenal FC is so bewildering, and I can’t see any justification of it, neither for ‘footballing reasons’ nor through the bottom line. All we want is to have the money we spend on tickets to be spent on the team we are paying to watch. It shouldn’t be like this, this isn’t why we are fans, this isn’t football.
