Another hugely disappointing away day saw Everton deservedly win the game 3-0. I don’t think we can have any complaints about the result.

Here’s how the players rated.

Maybe the only player to come out of it with any real credit, made good saves but let down by sloppy, careless defending by those in front of him.

Left alone too often down the right hand side, but sloppy for the third goal.

Being part of a great partnership often means both players complement each other. Without Koscielny looks less assured.

Today's performance showed exactly why he was dropped last season. Found wanting.

Sadly looks like time is catching up with him, own goal at Goodison the dirty dollop of poo on the top of his puke sandwich of a day. How he got booked when Barkley should have had a red card is a mystery though.

Definitely brings something to the team on certain days, but when he doesn't is mostly ineffective. Today was one of those days.

Never found wanting for effort but against the younger legs of the Everton midfield looked his age today.

The little Spaniard cut a frustrated figure as those around him failed to make the runs he wanted, but equally his decision making was poor.

Had a couple of early shots, and a decent second half effort which Howard tipped over, but most of the game just passes him by.

Came on, hit the bar, could have a had a penalty, and was a positive influence all round.

Unlucky to be denied his first Arsenal goal due to an errant offside flag, but as bad as Giroud is he's really not ready. Not his fault, of course, but undeniably true.

Bonus rating: Arsene Wenger: 0/10 - Team didn't perform, he didn't react quickly enough, and yet another away day disaster in a game that really mattered.
