A dead rubber in the North London sunshine, but three very welcome points all the same.
Here’s how the players rated – and remember, you can add your own ratings and comments.
1: Wojciech Szczesny
Aside from a decent save to deny West Brom an equaliser in the second half he didn't have much to do. Now tied with Petr Cech for clean sheets this season.
17: Nacho Monreal
Started the game well but got a bit ragged in the second half picking up an unnecessary booking. Subbed for Thomas Vermaelen with 20 minutes remaining.
3: Bacary Sagna
On what we assume to be his final game in red and white (at the Emirates) he was as combative and tenacious as ever. Got up and down the wing all day and finally got the attention from the crowd that his spell at Arsenal deserves. His imminent departure will leave a gaping hole.
4: Per Mertesacker
Brushed off the likes of Amalfitano and Berahino with ease. What a terrific season he's had and with the captaincy potentially up for grabs he's got to be odds-on favourite to take the armband.
6: Laurent Koscielny
"He wants his own song" was as dependable as you'd expect. Can't remember him putting a foot wrong.
8: Mikel Arteta
Marshalled the midfield. Did the sideways thing with swagger.
20: Mathieu Flamini
Didn't get booked. The first time this has happened since records began.
11: Mesut Özil
Played in third gear and still manufactured the games best passes. A couple of through balls in the first 45 minutes were perfectly weighted while in the second half he revelled in showing off his quick feet in tight spaces. Probably should try and have a crack at some point. He's all foreplay.
19: Santi Cazorla
Not Santi's best day at the office, seemed obsessed with making 60-yard raking passes to Podolski but rarely found his target. Did have a decent first time effort saved by Foster before the break.
9: Lukas Podolski
Weirdly energetic performance from Poldi. He seemed really hyped up...at one point charging around chasing the ball before giving away a foul which might easily have been a booking. Great pass to set up Cazorla in the first 45 and whipped a couple of other decent balls into the box.
12: Olivier Giroud
Gets an extra point for scoring the winner. His header from a 16th minute corner was well placed (although West Brom's defending was abject) and he showed a couple of other nice touches. Didn't get much service overall and took frustration out on Dorrans in dying moments to pick up a yellow.
29: Kim Kallstrom
Winner of 'worst header at the Emirates 2013/14'
7: Tomas Rosicky
Buzzed about. More defensive than attacking in output.
5: Thomas Vermaelen
Filled in at left-back with ease.
Bonus rating: 10/10 Saido Berahino's Steven Gerrard impression. Take a fucking bow son, you had the whole stadium in stitches.
