VIDEO: Rob Holding and the BFG interview each other

15

Ahead of the FA Cup final on Saturday, Rob Holding and Per Mertesacker sat down to interview each other for the Arsenal YouTube channel.

Not only do they look ahead to the Wembley showdown with Chelsea, there’s also some good stuff on helping each other out on and off the pitch and Per’s memories of other recent finals.

There’s a real camaraderie between the pair, which bodes well given they could well play next to each other tomorrow.

Enjoy!

Holding: “shall I do the running for ya?”, taps him on knee, like he’s having story time with Grandad haha

He seems and sounds very intelligent. I actually don’t mind if per to succeed wenger.

Mertesacker seems like a such a great guy, hoping he sticks around for another year or two

I genuinely love Per.

Is it just me or the way Per talks, his facial expression have something from Arsene’s when he is giving an interview happy after a win? I would love Per to become a manager one day.

Wengers zip

Holding …. What a find

Thinking of the question from the live podcast about why someone would become a new Arsenal fan. My answer right now? These two.

Matty B.

Per calls himself “The Mountain” from GoT. Amazing.

Have we got a new marketing person in?? Very strange move from Arsenal.com imo…but I quite like it, backs against the wall, old bloke and youngster going into battle and all that…
We are going to get hammered aren’t we? 🙁

George Graham.

Just a shame be didn’t cost 50m.

same, kinda – first watch for me, missed in the run up. Great to see post game though, top performance from the 2 of them.

Seeing these 2 and the team in general it’s not hard to disagree with Wenger’s analysis that we only need a couple.. maybe even only 1 top quality finisher to be champions next year. If we can keep everyone fit…
