So Mbappe is taking the No14
Ozil the No10
And Lemar the no11

Mein Bergkampf

30 years as an Arsenal fan has given me bi-polar optimism/pessimism, often holding both stances simultaneously, and a masters level understanding of “Semantics of a football manager” Here’s to 30 more!

Arsene seems to be in a good mood, glad for him.

Matt

Where’s the actual press conference clip(s)?

Off topic but with the Alexis situation. Logically the most important thing is the player’s happiness . If we can sell for big money and then keep him on a free it sends the wrong message which is a step in the direction of Wenger’s future of Gazidis’ contract.

They seem to know that Alexis will be going to City. If not now, then next year. And they are surely not happy with the idea of losing him for free but they also know the fans will get completely mad if we sell him to them. UNLESS, we buy an 18 year old for a world record fee at the same time. That would surely be a transfer that would silence all this “ambition” talk, even if we do sell Alexis.
Still not entirely convinced that we keep him 100% if we don’t get Mbappe but it seems we at least try everything to make his departure as easy as possible for the fans.
I by the way also think that the wages he’s demanding are just crazy. The 250-300.000 we have reportedly offered are enough to stay at a club if you like it there. So if an astonishing amount is the only thing that will keep him at the club, he can jogg on, if you ask me.

Arsene has been constantly reminding M’bappe that he will not regret joining Arsenal. The fact that he chose to speak about him just after landing in Australia shows we are still in the hunt to sign him.

Anyone got a link to the presser?

This just adds to the Giroud speculation, baseless in my opinion.

Most of James’ videos seem to be baseless opinions on transfers.

BODMAS

M’bappe or Sanchez? ??

arsepedant

Both, please.
