Comment policy

You are welcome to comment on any Arseblog News article. By doing so you agree to our comment policy.

  • You are responsible for the content of your comment. Arseblog News cannot moderate comments 24 hours a day.
  • Debate is welcome, as are differences of opinion, but personal abuse, of Arseblog News authors, or other commentators, will not be tolerated. Such comments will be deleted. If you can’t make your point without resorting to abuse then please find somewhere else to comment.
  • You may not use half-witted, shitbox acronyms like AKB to describe fellow Arsenal fans simply because their opinion differs from yours. Similarly ‘Wengerites’ is another stupid, divisive phrase which may not be used.
  • Keep comments on topic, ‘play the ball, not the man’.
  • We will delete all comments which say ‘In Arsene we rust’. Not because we won’t criticise Wenger, but that rust thing is boring and stupid now.
  • We reserve the right to edit/delete comments as we see fit.
  • You agree to use real English. No text speak is permitted. Please use ‘you are‘, not ‘u r‘ etc. Comments using text speak will not be published.
  • You may use links relevant to the post in your comments. Any other link will be deemed spam and such comments deleted. This includes blatant links to your own blog/website. There is space to include this in the comment form. Please do not include them in the body of the comment itself.
  • We don’t mind swear words but do not use racist or homophobic language. Do not use the word ‘yid’ to talk about Sp*rs.
  • You may use an avatar – sign up at Gravatar to set yours. We cannot offer any support in this matter.
  • There is a zero tolerance policy in relation to spam of all kinds.
  • Nobody gives a fish’s tit if you’re the first to comment on an article. Any such comments will be removed, repeated offenders will be banned.
  • We have a zero tolerance approach to trolling.
  • Do not tell somebody to go and support another club just because you disagree with their point of view. That’s stupid. Don’t be stupid.
  • Do not use the word rape to describe a football result.
  • If your comment is awaiting moderation, please be patient. We often have to sort through a load of nonsense and it’s not personal.

This policy may be updated from time to time. It is your responsibility to ensure you are aware of the latest version.

  2. Loving the no text speak bit. I actually cheered out loud when I read it. All blogs should follow. I can’t understand half that drivel. Well done fella.

  5. Personal abuse not allowed, excepting when referring to $amir Na$ri being a cunt- though I suppose that is less a matter of abuse than it is a statement of fact.

  8. Jenkinson. He shouldn’t be put in this position. Wenger shouldn’t have brought him in as first choice cover when last Christmas he was playing non league football and hasn’t had a sustained period of playing football for any club. But this is where we are.

  9. I still dont know how Sp*rs fans get onto this site, they clearly have an overwhelming obsession with the people who’s shadow they’ve been living in…

  10. I have offered `Coments` previously, which have been accepted. Th e last three however have either blanked, just as I finish. Is this the PC or pilot error? I am reluctant to think that they failed to appear because it was critical of your impartiality

  15. I think our biggest problem right now as a team going forward is our lack of end product down the left and through the middle. Through the middle were far too tentative for the 1-2 passes and on the left our only true outlet is Podolski who has the tendency to drift in field and rarely track back, which is fine if the team can compensate fir that.

The bigger problem we have Down the left is the issue of Podolski having to come off every game for Gervinho. Unfortunately he adds to the frustration combined with Gibbs who both have ridiculously lacklustre end products between them in the final 3rd

I think a return to the 4-4-2 with Walcott playing the Henry role and with Poldi playing the reverse Pires role on the right cutting in and making use of the hammerhead left foot which were not seeing much of could really F@*k things up for all opponents that have clearly learnt and mastered our own game against us.

Time for change but not the manager. He deserves more respect and honour from us for how he has set us up to be a real threat of dominance for the future.

Lets not forget its only a game at the end of the day and the bigger picture should be appreciated more.

It’s time for u to go so dat u wouldn’t be counted as one of the worst managers that has coach Arsenal. Thanks

  21. Wilshire is out with a kick? funny how it was strapped up before he got kicked. Ye i always point straight to the bench when I’ve been kicked in the thigh. After all the injury trouble we went through with him, they started a kid who was carrying an injury. It’s only a ‘short term problem’ because we’re so desperate to play him that we’ll bring him back while he’s still carrying the injury.
